How to create plot?

Well, first something happens, which causes something else to happen, which in turn hopefully adds up to something else.

Or perhaps creating plot it is like knotting pieces of threads together that then somehow make up something whole.

Or maybe it is like wandering around a darken house that has not been completely built yet, so you end up bumping into half finished walls that need your attention, and then there must be a door located somewhere in that wall in order for you to move on to the next room where more plot must be, and there are multiple injuries to your shins and fingers because you haven’t quite worked out the use of a hammer yet, and sometimes you must stand still for hours, musing and panicking about which wall to build next, because that wall will lead you to a window that must be built, but you are not sure how to build windows at all.

And maybe it is nothing like any of those things.
